The Aflac Chef’s Tent

Date: Friday, March 2, 2018 | Time: 6:00pm to 8:00pm | Tickets: $175 per person

The Aflac Chef’s Tent features chefs and mixologists from all over the Southeast displaying their talents!  This ticket also grants entry to the Grand Tasting which begins at 7:00 so whenever you are ready to sample flavors from all over the area, just head in to the South Exhibit Hall at the Columbus Convention and Trade Center!  This event has sold out for the past four years and a limited number of tickets are available, so be sure to get your tickets early!

We are excited to announce that this year The Aflac Chef’s Tent will feature flavors from chef Chris Hastings.  Chris was the 2012 recipient of the James Beard award for Best Chef: Southern Division and in that same year, defeated chef Bobby Flay in “Battle Sausage” on Food Network’s Iron Chef America.  Disciples of the Farm to table movement, Chris and his wife, Idie are the owners of Hot and Hot Fish Club and OvenBird in Birmingham, Alabama and also consult with restaurants around the region on converting their operations to the farm to table philosophy.

Grand Tasting

The best local and regional breweries, distilleries, wineries, spirits and restaurants will be featured at the Grand Tasting. In one evening, guests will have the opportunity to taste all the best products on the market.
